Lead Dispatcher, Davis County 9-1-1
Ogden, Utah
I am currently a Lead Dispatcher with Davis County 911 in Utah. I have worked in 911 in Utah for 16 years. I love teaching and being involved with changes and improvements for 911. I have taught at Utah POST, APCO, and at various department trainings as well. I have a passion for 911, for the communities we serve, and for us as dispatchers. I co-created zero suicide kits for the communities I serve, which are an additional tool responders have to hand out to individuals in need. I have served with APCO for years, and am currently the Utah APCO Vice President. Outside of work, I love Utah and all it’s seasons. I have 5 girls that keep me busy and on my toes; they range in ages of toddler to teenager so naturally my stress level is always high. My girls and my husband love to take road trips, explore the outdoors, and do adventurous things. I also have a house full of pets... birds, dogs, cats, and a lone ranger bunny. For those that know me, know that I also love all the soda pop shops here in Utah. Almost as much as my kids.
